Staying informed
Meet the Medsage assistant
The Medsage assistant is a chat helper available on the website and inside the customer web app.
On the website
Ask anything about the product — features, setup, pricing, troubleshooting. The assistant answers from the official Medsage documentation and can point you to the right page or the contact form. It has no access to any account data.
In the app (signed in)
The assistant can see the devices and schedules on your account, so you can ask things like:
- “Did mom take her meds this week?”
- “What’s scheduled in compartment 3?”
- “Pause the evening Metformin while she’s in hospital.”
Actions need your confirmation
When you ask the assistant to change something — create, edit, pause, or delete a schedule, add an alarm, sync a device — it prepares the change and shows a confirmation card describing exactly what will happen. Nothing runs until you tap Confirm. You can always cancel.
Prefer doing it yourself? The assistant can instead hand you a “Take me there” button that opens the right page.
Boundaries
- The assistant never gives medical advice — no dosage suggestions, no interaction opinions. Those questions belong with your doctor or pharmacist.
- It only sees devices linked to your account, and its changes go through the same permission checks as the app.
Still stuck? Ask the assistant in the corner, or contact support.
