Adherence history and reports
The event log
Everything the device does is recorded as an event you can review in the app’s Event Log: confirmed doses (with how long the patient took to respond), missed doses, alerts, wellness check results, firmware update progress, and more. The log can be filtered by device and event type.
This is the ground truth for questions like “did Dad take his morning meds this week?” — check the log, or simply ask the Medsage assistant in the app.
What gets recorded
| Event | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Medication confirmed | Dose acknowledged on the device (or remotely by a caretaker) |
| Medication missed | No confirmation within the miss timeout |
| Alarm triggered | The device started alerting for a dose |
| Feeling reported | Wellness check answer (1–5, plus optional spoken note) |
| Power recovery / reconciled | Outage detected; patient’s answers about affected doses |
| OTA progress | Firmware update stages |
| Bug report | Report submitted from the device |
Emailed adherence reports
Medsage can send weekly or monthly adherence reports by email — an overall adherence percentage, dose counts, and a day-by-day breakdown, with a CSV file attached for spreadsheets or doctors. Reports are per-device and can go to any email address (family members or clinicians don’t need a Medsage account to receive them).
Report subscriptions are currently set up by the Medsage team — contact support to enable them for your device. Self-service setup from the app is on the roadmap.
Still stuck? Ask the assistant in the corner, or contact support.
